New partnership turns everyday travel bookings into ongoing support for the Project 61 movement to improve truck driver health

Carmel, IN – February 26, 2026

Project 61, the nonprofit spearheading an industry-wide movement to help truck drivers live longer, healthier lives, today announced an agreement with Engine as the Official Travel Partner of Project 61.

Through the partnership, companies who book travel through Project 61’s dedicated Engine link will help support the Project 61 mission. Engine will share a portion of its revenue from eligible hotel bookings made through Project 61’s dedicated Engine links, helping support free driver health tools and the Project 61 movement.

“We’ve heard it everywhere we go: people want to personally support driver health and be part of this movement,” said Jeremy Reymer, Founder of Project 61. “This partnership makes it practical. When you book travel you already need through our Engine link, you are helping fuel a movement that refuses to accept 61 as normal.”

“The transportation industry is a focus for Engine, and there is no better cause to support than one that benefits the workforce that keeps this industry running,” said Kyle Croyle, Director, Partnerships for Engine. “We are proud to partner with Project 61 to create an easy, everyday way for companies to support truck driver health.”

WHY THIS MATTERS

Truck driver health is personal. It affects drivers, it affects their families, and it affects the moments in life that matter most. And it’s also an industry issue, increasing safety risk, cost, and long-term sustainability challenges.

Project 61 exists to raise awareness, provide education, and deliver free, road-ready resources that make healthier habits practical for life on the road. This partnership creates an additional way for supporters across trucking to contribute by routing normal travel spend through a mission-aligned channel.

USE CASES FOR TRUCKING COMPANIES

Project 61’s Engine partnership supports common fleet travel needs, including:

  • breakdowns, HOS resets, weather delays, driver illness or safety issues, detention or terminal layovers
  • business meetings, sales travel, and conferences
  • orientation or training
  • recruiting events and company-wide initiatives

BOOK TRAVEL. SUPPORT DRIVERS.

Project 61 is calling on the entire trucking industry and supply chain, plus anyone who cares about the people behind the wheel, to support the movement in practical ways that add up over time.
